Our New Recycle Bins

PAPER

All colour and colorless paper such as newspapers, magazines, books, paper scraps, catalogues, pamphlets, calendars, cards, envelopes and carton boxes EXCEPT tissue paper, carbon paper, foiled/waxed paper and contaminated paper.

HOW TO RECYCLE

  • Separate newspapers and magazines from the rest of papers
  • Open and flatten paper cartons/boxes
  • Tie up neatly
  • Put them in BLUE recycling bins or send them to collection centers

GLASS

All coloured and non-coloured glass like soft drink bottles, food jars, vitamin and cosmetic bottles EXCEPT crystals, mirrors, glass windows, car wind screens, porcelain, ceramic, laboratory apparatus and toxic containers.

HOW TO RECYCLE

  • Remove remaining fluids from bottles
  • Remove all label
  • Rinse and dry the bottles
  • Put them in BROWN recycling bin or send them to collection centers

ALUMINIUM

All types of aluminium and steel cans like soft drink and food cans EXCEPT paint containers, glue containers or any containers used to keep toxic substances.

HOW TO RECYCLE

  • Remove remaining fluids from cans
  • Remove all labels
  • Rinse and dry the cans
  • Flatten the cans Put them in ORANGE recycling bin or send them to collection centers

PLASTIC

All coloured and non-coloured plastics bags like shopping bags, drinking bottles, mineral water bottles, food containers, washing liquid bottles and vitamin bottles EXCEPT paint containers, toxic substance containers and styrofoam containers.

HOW TO RECYCLE

  • Remove remaining fluids from plastic bottles/bags
  • Remove all labels
  • Rinse and dry the plastics
  • Put them in ORANGE recycling bin or send them to collection centers
